Jerry Albert Maxwell, 74, of Fairmont, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024. He was born March 21, 1950, the son of the late Charles Gilbert Maxwell and Annie Clara Maxwell.

Jerry was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was employed by the Labor Union. He enjoyed collecting coins, hunting, and fishing.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Dian Barker and her husband Aaron Vincent Barker; grandchildren, Jerry Cole Maxwell, Michael Ray Bragg, Quelin Barker, Davin and Haley Copeland, Sophia Barker, Ian Felsing, Aiden Felsing, and Anthony Felsing; great grandchildren, Jax and Jace Copeland; a brother, Kenneth Maxwell; sisters, Judy Nester and Nancy Freeman and her husband William; and Louise and Derrald Miller; and a friend, Kenneth "Boxy" Barker.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by two children, Jerry Albert Maxwell II and Jamey Alan Maxwell; and a sister, Sheila Hudson.
