John C. Roberts, 77, of Fairview, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born March 30, 1944, a son of the late Elias Andrew and Donnie Mae (Parker) Roberts.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Sargent in Vietnam. He was a devoted Church of Christ member.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a daughter, Christina Mae; sisters, Allison Clarissa, Sharon (Roberts) Inness, and Sara (Roberts) LeMasters; and a brother, Frank Roberts.

John is survived by his wife of 53 years Judy Kay (Carpenter) Roberts; a daughter Dawn Tennant and her husband Roy; a granddaughter, Danielle Canfield and her husband Brian; step-grandchildren, David Tennant and Elizabeth Tennant; great grandchildren and lights of his life, Riley and Brantley Canfield; a sister, Donnie Kay Roberts; a brother, James E. Roberts and his wife Colleen, and Kyle Roberts and Debbie; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for John and Judy will be held November 6, 2021 at Pumpkin Center Church of Christ with visitation at Noon and services to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Preacher Robert Leedy officiating. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
