Johnnie Moore, 88, of Fairmont, passed away June 3, 2026. He was born September 17, 1937 in Monongah, WV, a son of the late Wilma Mae Moore.

Johnnie is survived by his children, Johnny Mark Moore, Jeff “Stonkey” Moore and his wife Carla, and Laura Jean Benzo; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his mother, Johnnie was preceded in death by his brothers, Loren Jack Moore, and Bill Moore.

Johnnie was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked for several years in New Martinsville and retired from Consolidated Coal.
