Joyce Lillian Ross, lovingly known as Joy, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 1, 1944, she was the daughter of the late William "Bill" Tibbetts and Dixie Harden Tibbetts.

She is survived by her two sons, Charlie (Carolyn) Ross and Mark Ross; her cherished grandchildren, Brad (Britney) Ross of Fairmont, WV and Eric (Brandi) Ross of Farmington, WV. She was extremely proud of and loved spending time with her great-grandchildren, Bryce, Greyson, Claire, and Bailey Ross.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Ross; a brother, Paul Tibbetts; and her beloved great-granddaughter, Jessica Anne Ross.

Joy loved cooking, baking, ceramics, sewing, quilting, and growing flowers. She was a cheerleading Pop Warner coach for the Monongah Little Lions for several years. She also enjoyed spending time with her dog, Damon.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date at the West Virginia National Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
