Judith Ann Hocker, 64, of Fairmont, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 30, 2023. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio, on December 13, 1958, a daughter of the late Charles and June Vernon.

Judith Ann Hocker was loved by her family and friends. She was known as the "life of the party," and for always arriving fashionably late. Judith never knew a stranger, and always made sure to greet those around her with, "The Lord loves you!" She was a devout member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Fairmont where she served on the Women's Ministry, Usher Board, and Pastor's Aide Ministries. She was a member of the Umojah Voices of Joy Choir and the Praise Team. Judy loved to mime from her walker. She was also a member of the Elks Lodge.

Judith is survived by her beloved sons Daniel Hocker, III and Dominic Hocker; her ex-husband, friend, and father to her two boys, Daniel Hocker, Jr.; brothers Mark Locust, Kenneth Williams, Timothy Williams, and Charles Vernon, Jr.; her twin sister Trudy Thomas; sisters Valjean Williams and Neila Bond; sister-in-law Jackie Mclin-Vernon; grandchildren Daniel and Neal Bledsoe, Sonyah Harriston; and Dontezz Haught.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents Charles and June Vernon; brothers Bryan Vernon, Robert Williams, and Rodney Vernon.

The family has entrusted arrangements to Domico Funeral Home. The Visitation will be held at Morning Star Baptist Church on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Wesley Q.
