Karen Sue Manzo, 65, of Monongah, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022. She was born September 13, 1956 in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late Raymond Lavar Manzo and Mary Ozie Manzo.

Karen earned her Ph.D. from West Virginia University. She was employed as an Epidemiologist at West Virginia University. She enjoyed playing piano, gardening, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Karen is survived by her son, Matthew Tennant and his wife Margaret; grandchildren, Raymond and Quinn Tennant; and brother, Jim Manzo and his wife Marie; stepson, Jason Tennant and his wife Nikki and his children, Keegun and Kaden.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Vigil rites will be at the funeral home on Friday at 6:00 p.m. Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 687 Maple Terrace in Monongah, on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Vincent E.
