Katherine Ann Fox, 86, of Grant Town passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 5, 1936, a daughter of the late John O. Underwood and Matilda Underwood.

Katherine was a loving mother of six. She studied for her LPN license while raising her small children. Upon completion of her nursing license, she worked at several nursing homes in West Virginia and Virginia one of which being Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown, WV. Katherine had a lot of love to give to others, which made sense that she specialized in Geriatrics. Her most recent employment was as a Home Health Nurse where she was loved by her patients and their families for the special touch, she was able to give them at their most vulnerable times.

Katherine was survived by her six children Richard Styles and wife Andrea of Atlanta, GA, Cheryl Waskis and Husband John of Grant Town, WV, Carolyn Long and Husband Wayne of Atlanta, GA, Marsha Styles of Grant Town, WV, Jeanie Carpenter of Grant Town, WV, and Scott Styles of Grant Town, WV; grandchildren, Shaun Styles, Chassidy Styles, Jacob Styles, Calvin Davis, Angela Davis, Michael Anderson, Mary Waskis, Cliff Waskis, Chrissy Daniel, Jared Long, Clinton Long, Billy Styles, Jessica Styles-Harrod, Danielle Styles, Mackenzie Styles, Stevan Triplett, and Timothy Triplett; she also had several great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, John O. Underwood and Matilda Underwood, she was preceded in death by her great granddaughter Macy Styles; the father of her children, Clifford Styles; her two brothers "Zip" Underwood and Bill Underwood; as well as her sisters Margie Russell, Ruth Koon, and Dora Ford.

The family has entrusted the arrangements to Domico Funeral Home, Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November, 27 ^th from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Monday, November 28 ^th at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon David Lester officiating.
