Kevin Blanks Jr., 29, of Fairmont passed away November 05, 2018.  Kevin was born January 17, 1989 in Detroit, MI, son of Kevin Blanks, Sr. and Phyllis (Farmer) Moore.

Kevin was a 2008 graduate of Fairmont Senior High School.  He enjoyed music, dancing, and sports, especially the Detroit Lions.

In addition to his parents, Kevin is survived by his step father, Tyrone Moore, Sr. of Fairmont; four brothers, Tyrone Moore, Jr. of Fairmont, Darcell McMillion of Detroit, Pierre Blanks of Detroit and Jaden Moore of Fairmont; three sisters, Deonte McMillion of Detroit, Jasmine Smith of Detroit and Raven Moore of Fairmont; two aunts, Rae Savage, and Linda Lloyd and husband Eric; an uncle, Dennis Lumpkin; grandmothers, Brenda Lumpkin and Lois Moore; great grandmother, Ethel Fox; great aunt, Hollis Cook, Esther Moore; and special friends, Carl Simms III, and Leon Maddox III.

Kevin is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joshua Lumpkin, Ford English, Sr., and Glenn Moore; an uncle, Charles Lee, Jr.; cousins, Maurice Savage II, Keenan Randall, and Darrell Cook; a great grandmother, Bernice Lee; a great grandfather, Charles Lee, Sr.; and a great aunt, Priscilla Steed.

The family will receive friends at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 135 Maple Ave. Fairmont, on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until Noon.  The funeral service will be held at Noon on Saturday in the church with Rev. Dr. Mark Staples and Pastor Regina Riley officiating.  Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
