Lawrence Delano Thompson, Jr., 61, of Norway, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019. He was born in Fairmont on January 16, 1958, a son of the late Lawrence Delano Thompson, Sr. and Rochelle Whitehair Thompson.

Larry was a talented painter, woodworker, and photographer. He enjoyed hiking, camping in the mountains of West Virginia, especially at Spruce Knob, Dolly Sods, and Canaan Valley. He was employed as a glass blower for Seneca Glass Company in Morgantown and was a true Mountaineer.

Larry is survived by his son, Zackery Thompson of Benton's Ferry; his brother, Gary Thompson (Lisa) of Pittsburgh; many close cousins, nieces; and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded by his infant sister, Sherry; and his grandparents, Thomas and Oleda Whitehair and William and Carol Thompson.
