Obituary

Lee Marshall "Mark" Skinner, Jr., 63, of Wadestown, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023. He was born on August 11, 1960, a son of the late Lee Marshall Skinner and Nova Sue Six.

Mark was in the graduating class of 1978 from Clay-Battelle High School. He was an employee of Consol, Patriot Coal, and Frontier Kemper. Mark was known by his family and friends to be the life of the party. Mark never knew a stranger, and as his daughter Megan would say, he was the loudest and proudest guy in the room! He always had a funny joke, and would make you laugh at even the most inappropriate times. His family adored him, as he equally adored his family and especially his granddaughters!

Mark loved the Green Bay Packers, golfing, shooting pool, riding his motorcycle, flying kites, and telling his family and friends the best (and always humorous) stories. When he was younger, he played fast-pitch softball, basketball, and coached his son, Aaron's, little league baseball team.

Mark is survived by his children Aaron Lee (fiancé Cassidy Toothman) Skinner, Megan Louise (Benji) Nixon; brother Austin (Angela) Bond of Danville, VA; sister Tina Kay (Chuck) Raber of Spraggs, PA; grandchildren Hadley, Bianca, and Audrey; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his partner Debbie Gum; Brothers Ron White and Douglas Skinner; and Sister Renee Tharp.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home – Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview, on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Online Condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
