Lois Rader Simmons, 84, of Kingmont, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023. She was born in Fairmont on January 9, 1939, a daughter of the late Ralph and Cora Fox.

Lois was employed by Westinghouse/North American Philips. She enjoyed camping, fishing, shopping, and trips to the beach.

Lois is survived by her children, Lana Simmons (Jennifer Hunt), and Larry Simmons (Cyndi Coffman); grandchildren, Cameron Simmons (Fallon Forquer), Tanner Simmons, Sydney Wilshire (Wes Brinegar); great grandchildren, Briella Simmons, Ripley Simmons, Slater Simmons, and Owen Brinegar; and a sister, Mary Jane Hickman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Simmons; and her siblings, Shirley Wilson, Loretta McCombs, Doris Crislip, and Bob Fox.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill Preston officiating.
