Lorena Mae Luton, 88, of Fairview, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in her home in her beloved chair. She was born in Greenback, WV, daughter of the late Adolphus Shears and Nola Shears.

Lorena was employed by the Bank of Wadestown in Fairview. She was the oldest member of Noah's Ark Assembly of God in Fairview. She enjoyed baking, cooking family meals, and spending time with her grandbabies and great grandbabies.

Lorena is survived by her children: Jack Michael Luton and wife Tara of Florida; grandson Christopher Luton and companion Sarah Leinier; and great grandchild, Drake Wolfe; granddaughter Jacklyn Clark and her husband William; great grandchildren, Penelope and Oliver; grandchild, Nathan Luton; Loyd Eugene Luton and his wife Gail of Louisiana; grandchildren Steven Luton, Scott Luton and wife Brittney; great grandchildren, Bryce and Skyler; and Charissa Luton Lovecchio and her husband Anthony;  great grandchild, Gabriella; David Leroy Luton and wife Debbie of Pumpkin Center; granddaughter Shelly Composky and husband Michael; great grandchildren, Austin and Dylan Composky; granddaughter, Jessica Broll and husband David; great grandchildren, Trey, Briella; Terri Linn Luton; granddaughter, Amber Harris; great grandchildren, Elijah, Jack, and Judah; grandson, Jacob Harris; and great granddaughter, Aydrean and her mother Stephanie Catsonis.

In addition to her parents, Lorena was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Alton Luton; and her brothers, Donald Shears, Marlin Shears, and Jerry Shears.

For the last six and a half years, Lorena has been being cared for by her loving daughter, Terri Linn, who made sure she was comfortable in her chair when she passed. The family would also like to give thanks to Lorena's personal caregiver, Jojo Finch, for all of the love and care given not only to Lorena, but to the family, as well.

The family will receive friends at Noah's Ark Assembly of God Church, Rt. 218 in Fairview, on Monday, August 26, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the church on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Delas Stuzen officiating.
