Lyle James Rainwater, 87, of Pleasant Valley, WV, died April 29, 2020 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV, as a result of a stroke.

Lyle was born March 3, 1933 in Sonomish County, Washington. His family moved to Duarte, California when he was young, he moved to Pleaseant Valley in 2006.

Lyle was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Barbara Jean Wamsley Rainwater on December 18, 2009.

He is survived by his 3 children, Shari Lynn Rainwater Drennen, Kevin Mark Rainwater, and Brian Rainwater Carrington; 9 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.

Lyle has been a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Letterday Saints for many years. He was a devoted the better part of his life researching and recording his genealogy and family history.
