Margaret Slate Lewis, 83, of Fairmont, passed away in her home on Thursday, January 28, 2021. She was born May 29, 1937 in Fairmont, a daughter of the late John Franklin Slate and Mary Theresa Gentile Slate.

Margaret was cherished and loved by anyone who knew her.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Shari Robinson; grandchildren, Celia Rossi and Wesley Parrish; great grandchildren, Angelaya Rossi, Gabriella Rossi, Kayleigh Parrish, Anthony Parrish, and Hadley Parrish; brother, John "Sonny" Slate; sister, Delores Floyd; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Rose DeBault.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Evangelist Tim Shuttlesworth officiating.
