Marie Milbrad Barrow, 100 of Fairmont, departed this life Tuesday, July 9, 2019, with her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter by her side. She was born in Fairmont, WV on September 9, 1918, a daughter of the late Fred and Clara Belle Milbrad.

Marie was a resident of the Fairmont Arbors for 29 years then resided with her son and daughter-in-law. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Fairmont Arbors. She looked forward to her weekly hair appointment with JoJo Rokosky, her hairdresser of 45 years. She worked a short time at Westinghouse Lamp Plant. She later worked at Owens Illinois where she retired after 26 ½ years.

Her survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rita Mae Church and George of Carlinville, IL; a son, and daughter-in-law, D. Wayne Barrow and Marlene of Fairmont. Marie is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Steve Barber (Toni Picu), Chris Barber (Miriam Valladares), Patrick Barrow (Elizabeth Dietrich), and Stefanie Barrow Hurst and Eric; and one great granddaughter, Maggie Grace Hurst.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Richard Wayne and Edgar Milbrad.
