Marion Virginia Sachetti, 93, of Fairmont, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020. She was born in Monongalia County on July 11, 1927, a daughter of the late John "Zeb" Haught and Flossie Efaw Haught.

Family was everything to Marion. She especially enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. She was an excellent golfer and enjoyed spending time with her friends at Green Hills Country Club.

Marion was a jack of all trades: chef, seamstress, fashion designer, decorator, party planner, carpenter, and baker known for her delicious array of Christmas cookies. You never went hungry when you came to Marion's house.

Marion is survived by her children, Brenda Spadafore (Jimmy), Joyce Sachetti, Jimmie Jo Halfen (Billy), and Matt Sachetti (Kathy); grandchildren, Healther Daugherty (Shawn); Jonathan Spadafore (Tracy), Tyisa Stewart (Cody), Shay Sachetti (Devany), Jess Patton (Andrew), Lauren Halfen Oertel, and Sam Halfen; great grandchildren Shane Daugherty (Amandah), Mara Daugherty (Cody), Greyson Stewart, Kenley Stewart, Luke Stewart, Vincent Oertel, Nash Sachetti, Ed Kaake, great great grandchild, Shiloh Daugherty; brothers, Jimmy Haught, Isaac Haught, and brother-in-law, Johnny Sacchetti; and sisters, Norma Ammons, Arleen Donaldson, Colleen Pierce, Judie Tucker, and sister-in-law, Carmella McIntosh.

In addition to her parents, Marion was preceded in death by her husband, James "Red" Sachetti, and siblings, Billy Haught, Myrel Haught, Dorothy Chiater, Mary Jo Eddy, and Joyce Haught.
