Marlin Rita (Carolyn) Colvin Chicarelli, 79, of Fairmont, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021. She was born July 2, 1941 in Farmington, a daughter of the late Floyd Daniel Colvin and Velma Crimm Colvin.

Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and homemaker.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Edward Chicarelli II, Shelia Khalifa and her husband Ahmed, Krissy Rutherford, Greg Chicarelli, Denise Labra and her husband Edwardo, and Douglas Bryan and his wife Carla; grandchildren, Brook Moyle, Shane Rutherford and his wife Jenna, Jonny Jett, Miranda Leshelle Chicarelli, Mandy Labra, Robert Labra, Nick Bryan, and Morganne Bryan; great grandchildren, Sebastian Moyle and Elliott Holden Moyle; sister, Jackie Nicholas; her dog, Alfie; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Chicarelli; brothers, Daniel Colvin, Ward Brent Colvin, and Norval Lee Crimm; sisters, Betty Jean Romano and Ellen Larona Wooden; and daughter-in-law, Michelle Dawn Chicarelli.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Brent Gallagher officiating.
