Mary Louise Buchanan, 78, of Fairmont, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019. She was born in Fairmont on January 24, 1941, a daughter of the late Joe Church and Martha Harsh.

Mary enjoyed playing bingo, solving jigsaw puzzles, and dancing at the teen hop.

Mary is survived by her husband, James Allen Buchanan, Sr.; her children, Dawn Murphy and her husband John of Fairmont, and James Allen Buchanan, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Brandi, Sarah, Jacob, Elizabeth, Heather, Gabrielle, and Jimmy; great grandchildren, Bailey and Julie; a brother, Donald Joe Church; and sisters, Betty Watkins and Clara Bell Layman.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Candy Estel; and a sister, Barbara Sauro.

Thank you, Father God, for accepting her into the Heavens and giving Mary to me and our wonderful children.
