Mary Margaret Jane Lewis, 87, of Monongah, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024. She was born in Idamay, WV, on August 28, 1936, a daughter of the late Paul Sayre and Roxanna Ruth (McKinney) Sayre.

Mary Margaret was a member of Monongah Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Birthday Club and Red Hat Society. She was devoted to raising her family, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Mary Margaret is survived by her children Kathy (Mark) Noble, Jennifer (Gary) Wade, Stephanie (Dale) McIntire, and Bill (Tammy) Lewis; her sister Betty Beavens of Idamay; grandchildren Stacy (Daran) Hays, Emily Noble, Kyle Noble, Matthew Wade (Kendra Ricer), Andrew (Nicole) Lewis; great grandchild Landree Jane Hays; niece Connie Huffman; and nephew Bryan Beaven, Jr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Lewis.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and Monday, June 24, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Michael Richards officiating and Chad Proudfoot speaking.
