Mary Catharine Walls of Fairview, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020. She was born in Fairview on May 16, 1924, a daughter of the late Peter A. Tennant and Lillie C. Haught Tennant.

Mary owned and operated Walls Auto Parts in Shinnston from 1963 until that time it was sold in 1995. She was a member of Haughts Chapel United Methodist Church for her life and was a member of the Haughts Chapel Woman's Society.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Marilesa Yost and her husband Rob of Bridgeport; and 5 people very special to her, like grandchildren she loved as her own, Brittany Bryan and her husband Kris, DJ Mugnano and his wife Jennifer, Bianca Mugnano, Breigha Mugnano, and Brynlee Bryan. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Helen Tennant and nephew, Peter Jay Tennant.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Denzil Walls; her siblings, Paul Tennant and Lucille Tennant; and her nephew, John Paul Tennant.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home – Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview, on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. She will lie in state at Haughts Chapel United Methodist Church, in Fairview, on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Friday, February 21, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Vincent officiating.
