Melissa Dawn Harr, 49, of Barrackville, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2026. She was born in Fairmont on October 31, 1976, a daughter of Barbara and Doug Tennant and the late Cloyd Lilley.

Melissa was employed by Guardian Healthcare in Watson. She loved spending time at the beach with her family and riding 4-wheelers.

Melissa is survived by her parents, Barbara and Doug Tennant of Kingmont; her son, Tristan Harr of Buchanan, VA; grandchildren, Maverick Hixenbaugh and Kazleigh Harr; her sister, Danielle Lilley of Cleveland, OH; her companion and special friend, Donnie Ramsey; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; special neighbors, Marty and Bobbie Brummage; and her dog, Gypsy.

Melissa was preceded in death by her son, Dylan Harr; maternal grandparents, John and Helen Toothman; and paternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Gwynn.
