Michael Earl McCue, 63, of Fairmont, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024. He was born June 18, 1960 in Fairmont, to Carl William McCue and the late Betty Mae McCue.

Michael was employed at Leer Mine in Grafton and Fairmont Specialty. He was a member of the Moose Club in Morgantown. He enjoyed hunting, going to his camp at Pleasant Creek, motorcycles – especially Indian Motorcycles, NASCAR, cooking, and his grandchildren.

Michael is survived by his wife wife, Nancy McCue-Vandergrift; daughter, Megan Ann Beerbower and her husband Harold III of Fairmont; grandchildren, Olivia Marie Raschella, Tristan Jace Beerbower, and Colson Michael Beerbower; his father, Carl William McCue; a brother, Carl McCue and his wife Lori of Morgantown; two sisters, Rhonda Yost and her husband Dennis of Morgantown, and Valerie Hamilton and her husband Greg of Pennsylvania; uncles, Chuck McCue and John Eddy; aunt, Edith Tennant; a sister-in-law, Linda Gamble; brother-in-law, Tom Vandergrift; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lanis and Mary Jean Vandergrift; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Mae McCue.

The family would like to give special thanks to the doctors who cared for Michael, Dr. Ahmad, Dr.Cifarelli, Dr. Ryan Hall, Dr. Honsaker, and Dr. Thomas.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill Coon officiating.
