Nancy Marie Bailey, 78, went to be with the angels from WVU Fairmont Medical Center, surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 23, 2024.

She was born in Fairmont on June 27, 1945, the daughter of Robert Clarence Bailey and Ruth Adeline Bartholow. She was a companion to Robert Charles Miller.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Virginia "Ruth" Miller and companion John Fox; son-in-law, George Corbin; daughter, Cathy Jo and husband John "Dave" Shields; and son, Robert Charles Miller II; 10 grandchildren, Charles David "Chuck" Miller and wife Johnnie, Brittany Simmons and husband Justin, Joann Miller and companion Jason Smith, Little Robert Miller III, Mercedes Corbin and companion Brandon Bickerstaff, Sylvia Jurasko and husband Michael, Shelby Bowman and husband Dennis, George Michael Corbin and companion Shianne Stire, Jesse Ray Sawyer and fiancée Chynna Cork, Christopher Ash and fiancée Marea Jordan; 25 great grandchildren, Johnathan Thomerson, Meila Bush, Gabriella Miller, Makenzie King, Serenity and Ezme Simmons, Brooklyn and Leighann Efaw, DJ, Nettie, and William Smith, Lyniaunna Corbin, Kruz Washington, and Nasier Bickerstaff, Michael "Bubba" and Ryder Jurasko, Jordynn and Layla Bowman, Kira, Nicole, and Lariyah Policano, Kainen, Kash, and Araya Sawyer, and Ivy Ash; and a long-time friend, James Sigley.

In addition to her parents and life-time companion, Bob, she was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Jean and Phil Edwards; 4 brothers, John Bailey, Billy and Barb Bailey, Teddy Wayne, Robert Lawrence Bailey; and her puppy, "Buttercup."
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved flowers, wind chimes, and playing skipbo.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Frank Wiechers at Whitehall Medical, Alice, Angie, Nina, and all staff at Wishing Well Assisted Living, and Chance Ward.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Friday at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Jamie Knight officiating.
