Patricia Ann "Pat" Eddy, 88, of Fairview, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019. She was born in Fairmont on September 24, 1931, daughter of the late Herbert Jones and Willa Clelland Jones.

Patricia was employed as a mail carrier, at Sears, and at Williamson Shaft. She retired from Fairview Bit Company. Pat was a great cook, home room "mom," softball player, and 4H Leader in Fairview. She loved camping, especially at Holly River State Park with her best friend and beloved Lenard and all their camping friends.

Pat is the last of the 8 picnic traveling, Saturday night card playing special angel parents who taught us to enjoy love, laughter, and the joy of simple living. We miss you all!

Patricia is survived by her daughters, Rayanna and Donna Jean; grandchildren, Kendra (Brian) Davis and Drew (Felicia) Eddy; great grandchildren, Adriana, Hunter, Zachary, and Makayla; a sister, Margaret Jane (Jim) Fortney; and just like their own, Carolyn Straight and Skip Wilson; and several nieces and nephews, and their families.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Lenard Carroll, who died July 12, 2017.

The family will receive friends at the Pumpkin Center Church of Christ in Fairview on Monday, October 14, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will be at the church on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Evangelist Joe Moon and Evangelist Mark Jones officiating.
