Patsy L. Lambert Straight, 82, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family love. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, a devoted wife, and a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a true friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Straight; father, James Paul Lambert; mother, Estelle Bud Lambert; and granddaughter, Andrea Straight.
Her Earth Family consists of Raymond Paul Straight (Doreen) from Fairbanks, Alaska, Scott Straight (Rusella) from Spraggs, Pennsylvania, and Carol Jane Straight Green (Kevin) from Salem, WV. Also grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa, Elizabeth, Christian, Cortney, Brittany, Theodore, James, and Joseph; and many great grandchildren, Vincent, Xavier, Alexa, Hayden, Jaxon, Lillian, David, Maddison, Natalie, Hailie, Michael, Maylene, Logan, Aryia, Rafael, Lucas, and Oliver; sisters, Nancy Haynes, Betty Gauding; and several niece and nephews.
A graduate from Rootstown High School in Rootstown, OH, as well as an associate graduate from Fairmont State College in Business, she possessed many skills that led those who knew her to know she was kind, generous, and talented in bookkeeping, becoming a part owner of the Bank Building, office manager to Circle Maintenance, and owner of the former The Party Store all in Fairmont, WV. On top of being "mom" to more than just her biological children.
She was a devoted and beloved member of Mount Zion Community Church in Grant Town, WV.
The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home – Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview, on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill Rager officiating. Interment will follow at Blacksville Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Mount Zion Community Church, 102 Church Street, Grant Town, WV 26574.
