Paul Richard Helms, 54, of Barrackville, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019. He was born in Fairmont on February 26, 1964, son of the late Fred Edward Helms and Margaret Crites Helms.

Paul was a patient, kind, quiet man who was willing to help everyone. He loved his wife and her dogs. He was witty and humorous, and was truly a friend to everyone.

He was survived by his wife, Tina Helms; his brother, Rodger Lee Helms; his sister, Doreen Helms Miller and her husband Marvin; nephews, Marvin Earl Miller III and Frederick Blaine Miller; sister-in-law, Vida Vincent; niece Britta Vincent; great nephew, Frankie Vincent; and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, David Eugene Helms, and Matthew Helms.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home – Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview, on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until Noon. The funeral service will be on Friday at the funeral home at Noon with Pastor Ron Lee officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery.
