Paulette Dobbs, 68, of Fairmont, WV departed this life on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.  She was born on December 3, 1956 to the late Paul D. and Virginia Lewis Dobbs in Newark, NJ.

She attended Marion County Schools and was a 1974 graduate of West Fairmont. Sr. High School. She had several employers with the most recent being Mylan Pharmaceuticals. Paulette was a dire fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.  She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, watching TV, and most importantly, attending all the sports events to watch her sons' and grandsons' games.

Paulette leaves to cherish her memories: 2 devoted sons: Antonio Donell Dobbs and Deon Jermaine (Memori) Dobbs, both of Fairmont, WV; 4 grandchildren: Chauntea (Phillip) Garcia of California, Zyon Deon, Zycheus Jermaine, and Jayda London Dobbs all of Fairmont, WV;  two great grandchildren: Elias and Aria Garcia of California; one nephew; Antoine Dobbs, Sr.; one great  nephew: Antoine Dobbs, Jr, both of Fairmont, WV; one uncle: Rev. Wesley (Cynthia) Dobbs of Fairmont, WV; two aunts: Sandra Linear of Fairmont, WV and Patricia Drake of Pittsburgh, PA; several special cousins including Fredrick Lewis of Morgantown, WV and a host of friends including her special friend, Jennifer Caldwell of Fairmont, WV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Sharon Belton and Teresa Dobbs; maternal grandparents: Marie Jones and Fred Lewis; paternal grandparents: Jewell and Lillie Dobbs; four aunts: Ella Mae Brim, Ruth Waters, Garnett Dobbs, and Emma Knight; two uncles: Joseph and Richard Dobbs; and a very special friend, Clyde Williams.

The family will receive friends at Morning Star Baptist Church, 100 McKinney Street in Fairmont, on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The funeral will be on Saturday at the church at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor James A. Jones officiating and Pastor Emeritus Wesley Q. Dobbs as eulogist. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
