Penelope "Penny" Louise Bourne, 65, of Fairmont passed away Friday, February 14, 2020.  She was born July 18, 1954 in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late Adele Margaret Gaal Bourne and Lionel Garland Bourne.

Penny is survived by a brother, Lionel Wendell Bourne and wife Lucy of Fairmont.

In addition to her parents, Penny is preceded in death by a niece, Claudia Elena Espenoza; and a nephew, Luis Alberto Espenoza.

Penny was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord.  She was honorably discharged Vietnam Era Veteran with an outstanding service record, receiving a good conduct medal among other awards.  She graduated with honors from East Fairmont High School in 1972. Penny was very much loved by all who knew her.  She was always so sweet and helpful to everyone.  She was always quick to send a greeting card or little gifts to all she knew.

She was a long term resident of the Tygart Center where she touched the lives of all who knew her, and where she was so loved by her Tygart family.

A memorial service will be held at South Ridge Church in Fairmont on Saturday, February 22 ^nd at 3:00 p.m. Followed by a celebration of life at Lionel and Lucy's home.
