Rachel Catalina Anderson, 60, of Mannington, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024. She was born in Fairmont on May 25, 1964, a daughter of the late Johnny M. Thorne and Sandra (Carpenter) Thorne.

Rachel delivered newspapers for Times West Virginian. She enjoyed going fishing and camping at Big Bear Lake. She loved the beach, especially Ocean City, and was an avid gardener.

Rachel is survived by her husband, Michael W. Anderson of Mannington; her children, Delbert Allen West, Jr. and his wife Trista of Mannington, WV, Amanda Jean West of Fairmont, WV, and Megan Catalina West of Carolina, WV; grandchildren, Isaiah West, Moriah West, Christian Fisher, Shawna Fisher, Olivia Jones, Eli West, Brooklyn Jones, Shayne Fisher, Carter Fisher, Payton Jones; two great grandchildren, Kayson and Freya; brothers, Johnny Thorne of Rivesville, WV, and Eric Thorne or Mannington; sisters, April Moore and her husband Steve of Rivesville, WV, and Kim Lowe and husband Craig of Rivesville, WV.
