Ray Keith Wilson, 97, of Fairmont, passed away Friday, February 21, 2025. He was born February 5, 1928 in Monumental, son of the late Stephen Ross Wilson and Ida Shriver Wilson.

Ray was an avid farmer and meat cutter. He enjoyed horse pulling, and was a member of the Monumental Methodist Church.

Ray is survived by his daughter, Deborah Wilson of Monumental; granddaughter, Crystal Lynn "Sissy" Wilson; great grandson, Jayden "Fuzz" Wilson; a son Robert Lynn Wilson and wife Judy of Rivesville; granddaughter Maribeth Rote; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his wife Mary C. Wilson; grandson, Jonathan Wilson; son-in-law, John Sopuch; and siblings, Ralph Lynn, Robert Woodrow Wilson, Imagene Ball, Frances Ball, Flora Audia, Doris Wilson, Rebecca Stevens, Nadine Jarvis, and Patricia Stump.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice Care and the staff at Pleasant Acres Christian Haven. The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The service will be at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Stephanie Bennett officiating.
