Obituary

Raymond J. Mancino "Mac," 77 passed away at his home in Fairmont on Sunday April 11, 2021. Mac resided in Fairmont but was born and raised in Grant Town. He lost his battle to covid and is no longer suffering. He was proceeded in death by his mother Lucille McCoy Mancino and his father John Mancino, along with a lot of other family members and friends.

Mac served in the military and was a worker in the coal mines. Mac did not know a stranger. Everyone he met became his friend. He would give someone the shirt off his back if they needed it.  He was a man of many stories he loved to share. Mac enjoyed spending his mornings with his sisters and his good friends having Coffee at the local McDonalds or Burger King. He also enjoyed spending the nice days out on the bench talking with his neighborhood buddies. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren more than life itself. He would do anything for them. His great grandchildren were his reason for living.

He was survived by his two sisters Paulette Raschella of Fairmont and Judy Ralston (Roy) of Grant Town, his three children Shena Mancino, Shelly Mancino, and Mark Mancino all of Fairmont; his five grandchildren; his seven great grandchildren; and a lot of other family and great friends. Mac will be terribly missed by his entire family and all of his friends but most of all by his great grand babies. May he rest in heavenly peace.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
