Richard F. Wilson, 69, of Fairmont, WV passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023. He was born in Fairmont, WV on August 29, 1953 to the late Richard F. Wilson and Agnes Wilson.

Rick was a life-long roofer. He learned the skill as a young man before electrical nailers. Workers were amazed at his speed and skill at roofing.

His great love in latter years has been his steadfast dog, Midnight Star. You always had to say her full name, also. She kept his company for many years.

He is survived by one son, Richard Joseph Wilson; his siblings, Terry Wilson, Denise Talerico, and Timmy Wilson, of Fairmont, WV.

In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his youngest brother, Danny Wilson.

The family would like to thank Heather Clevenger, social worker, Marilyn Gifford, social worker, and Logan Seese, aide, with Village Caregiving for all of their love, compassion, empathy, and kindness shown to Rick.
