Rita Kay Kirk Garrison, 68, of Fairmont, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021. She was born July 21, 1953 in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Raymond Kirk and Alice Poling Kirk.

Rita is survived by her children, Christopher Edward Whetsell and his wife Daryl, Carli Cuppett and her husband James, and Jessie Lynn Mayle; grandchildren, Brittany Kay Whetsell, Stephen Andrew Mason, Alex Kittle, Austin Kittle, Adam Kittle, Samuel Whetsell, Jalin Mayle, and Adalyn Mayle; great grandchildren, Isabella Lawson, Skylar Lawson, Aryha Hayes, Caliber Webb, Wilder Webb, Lilyann Webb, and Chlovier Webb; a brother, Glenn Kirk, and sisters, Rebecca Finch and Bea Taylor.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her husband, John Garrison; a sister, Beverly Baughman; and a brother, Paul Kirk.
