Ronnie Edward Butler, 48, formerly of Fairmont, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2026 in Milton, WV. He was born in Fairmont on July 14, 1979, a son of the Donita Howvalt Scott and Melvin Joe Scott and the late Ronnie Butler.

Ronnie will be remembered for his love, hard work, big heart, and all of the little things that made him who he was. Though his hands may no longer turn a wrench and favorite trucks may sit a little quieter, the memories he created and the love he gave will never fade.

Ronnie was a self-employed mechanic at Butler Collision Repair and Rollin Coal Customs. Beyond his love of trucks, cars, and tools, his greatest accomplishment was the love he had for his family. He had a passion for fixing things and a personality that made him one of a kind.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie is survived by his wife, Della Butler; his children, Kristin Butler of Hurricane, WV, Ronnie “RJ” Butler of Mannington, WV, Nicole Butler of Fairmont, and Anthony “AJ” Butler of Fairmont; grandchildren, Oakley Sleeth and Keltin Butler; stepchildren, Sophia Sova and Joshua Sova.
