Rosalie Jarvis, 80, of Fairmont passed away Sunday, April 07, 2019.  She was born on May 09, 1938 in New Martinsville, daughter of the late William and Edith (McIntyre) Porter.

Rosalie was a member of the Barrackville Church of Christ.  She enjoyed birdwatching and gardening.

Rosalie is survived by three children, Catherine Jo Wildman and husband Phillip Rush of Monongah, Susan Lynn Shuman and husband Nelson of Fairview, and Gregory Scott Jarvis and wife Susan Marie of Monumental; a brother, William Edward Porter and wife Bobbi; five grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Rosalie is preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Jarvis; a child at birth; and a brother, John Porter.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Mary Baad Randolph Cancer Center in Morgantown, WV.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. in Fairmont, on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Larry Harker officiating.  Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery in Grafton.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com
