Rose Mary Linville, 92, of Rivesville, passed away Friday, May 15, 2026. She was born in Rivesville, WV on October 28, 1933, a daughter of the late Paul Ammons and Mary Arnett Ammons.

Rose Mary attended Deeper Waters Free Methodist Church in Rivesville. She had many hobbies which included quilting, homemaking, and flower gardening, crocheting, knitting, drawing, and painting. Throughout her adult years, she worked at the Post Office in Baxter, Owens-Illinois, Stonewall Casualty Insurance Company, and was also an at-home caregiver for the elderly.

She is survived by her children Brad Linville of Clarksburg, Connie (Richard) Ice of Shinnston, and Debra Clutter of Rivesville; grandchildren, Beth Gain, Ruth (Jason) Lloyd, Jamie (Kathy) Ice, Matthew (Nancy) Ice, and Chassidy (Timothy) James; great-grandchildren, Breanne Carter, Judah and Lucy Lloyd, Savannah (Chris) Flaugher, Carlie Ice, Emma Ice, Max Ice, Isaiah Ice, Eli Ice, Hunter James, and Owen James; great-great-grandchild, Caydence Flaugher; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Rose Mary was preceded in death by her grandchild, Andrea Clutter; siblings Jane Carpenter, Jean Ammons, Ruth Reed, Joe Ammons, and Lucille Reynolds; and a son-in-law, Glen Cutter, Jr.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Monday, May 18, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Adam Stuck officiating.
