Obituary

Rose Marie Tatta, 95, of Fairmont, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021. She was born in Fairmont on December 21, 1925, a daughter of the late Joseph Cassella and Madeline Castelluci.
Rose was married to Louis Tatta for over 50+ years.
Rose owned and operated Jack and Jill Cleaners from 1955 to 2006 with her husband, Louie. Rose then went to help her son, Franklin, and oldest daughter, Marlena at their businesses, Jack and Jill Men's Shop and Marlena's Accessories. Rose loved selling to her customers and sharing stories. Her laugh was contagious, you always knew she was in the room with that laugh. She dearly loved her grandkids and spending the holidays with the whole family. When she wasn't working, she loved to spend time with friends.
Rose was Catholic by faith. She was also a member of the Woman's Club, Elks Club Lodge 294, and V.F.W.
Rose is survived by her children, Franklin Tatta and Victoria Wyn Johnson of Morgantown, Marlena Mazza and Frank Zukowsky of Fairmont, and Linda McLaughlin and Dee McLaughlin of Suwanee, GA; her grandchildren, John Louis Tatta of Morgantown, Joseph Franklin Tatta of Morgantown, Rocky James Mazza of Boca Raton, FL, Nicole McLaughlin Smallwood and Britt Smallwood of Sarasota, FL, and Marisa Rose McLaughlin of Suwanee, GA; great grandchildren, Felix Tatta, Claudia Tatta, and Adrianna Mazza; her brother, Tony Cassella; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband of over 50+ years, Louis Tatta, who passed in 2006; and her brothers, Joe Cassella, Victor Cassella, Sammy Cassella, and John Tartaglia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Fairmont Catholic Grade School, 416 Madison St. Fairmont, WV 26554.
The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with Father Jojan Joseph officiating.
