Rowland Van Johnson, Jr., 70, of Fairmont, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021. He was born April 14, 1951 in McKeesport, PA, the son of the late Rowland Nathaniel Robert Johnson and Beatrice Larkin-Johnson.
Rowland retired from Mon Power after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Elks Monongahela Ledge #148. He will be dearly missed and was beloved by his son, daughter, and ex-wife.
Rowland is survived by his ex-wife, Theresa Loretta McCoy Johnson of Fairmont; his children, Jeremiah David Johnson of Fairmont, and Tiffany Lake Gonzalez and her husband Daron Lake Gonzalez of Ocala, FL; grandson, Xavier Daron Lake Gonzalez; siblings, Brenda Stinson of McKeesport, PA, Allen Bruce Johnson and his wife Luanne McDaniels-Johnson of Boyton Beach, FL, Michael Anthony Johnson of North Versailles, PA, and Jessica Yvonne Johnson of North Versailles, PA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Rowland was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Johnson.
The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue Fairmont, WV, on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.
