Royal "Measle" Eugene Moore, 89, of Fairview, passed away at his home following a sudden illness on July 2, 2021. He was born June 23, 1932 in Daybrook, WV, a son of the late John and Dorothy Moore.

Measle retired from Pennzoil and his passion was farming.

Measle is survived by his wife of 69 years, JoAnn Moore; sons, James Moore of Fairview and David Moore (Fonda) of Ripley; grandchildren, Chelsea Miller (James) of Ripley and Logan Moore of Morgantown; great grandchild, Caroline Miller of Ripley; brothers, Roger Moore of Morgantown and Johnny (Sandy) Moore of Daybrook; sisters, Rose Moore of Daybrook, Nancy Statler (Albert) of Mooresville, Roberta Sine of Daybrook, and Kay Wilson of Daybrook; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Measle was preceded in death by his brother, Jade Moore.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home – Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview, on Sunday, July 4, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Monday, July 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Freddie Eddy officiating.
