Ruby Jane Slamick, 69, of Fairview, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021. She was born in Fairview on June 23, 1951, a daughter of the late William Wallace Hinds and Jettie Emline Kennedy Hinds.

Ruby enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Ruby is survived by her children, Bobby Slamcik, Jr. and his wife Rosetta, Michael Slamick and his wife Elizabeth, and Christopher Slamick; her grandchildren, Tacoma, Allison-Taylor, Natalie, Easton, Emmy-Lou, Benjamin, and Angelina; her sisters, Alberta "Bert", Margaret, Mable, Mary, Carol, and Nell; a great niece, Danielle; and a great great niece, Cheyenne.

In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Walter, and Junior.
