Obituary

Samuel "Sam" Robert Dukich, 65, of Fairmont, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

He was born December 12, 1955, a son of the late Stephen Dukich, Sr. and Mary Virginia Mullins Dukich.

Sam was a 1974 graduate of Fairmont Senior High School. He was retired from and a proud member of U.A. Local 152 Plumbers and Pipefitters with 30 years of service. He was a loving father, father-in-law, and pappy to his daughters, son-in-law, and grandbabies. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers and nephew, Christopher Dukich. He was the biggest fan of his grandbabies while cheering them on during their sporting events. He found his love and passion again for motorcycles when he met his favorite son-in-law. He enjoyed volunteering his time and just simply hanging out at Busy B's Cycle Center. He never met a stranger and was truly loved by all. He never knew the word "no" and would give the shirt off his back, even if it was his last one.

He is survived by daughters, Chasity Dukich, Threasa Dukich and husband Mike Beeman, and Samantha Dukich, all of Fairmont; five grandbabies and three great grandbabies, Sydney Dukich, Colin Mayo, Cassidy Mayo, Jacob Beeman, Novaleigh Beeman, Annabel Dukich, Rosalee Nay, and Brantley Nay, all of Fairmont; three brothers, Stevie and Ruth Dukich of Baxter, Billy and Heather Dukich of Hepzibah, and Toby and Christina Dukich of Harrisville; best friends, Tom and Debbie Kennedy, Jimmy Savage, and his beloved dog, Duke; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephews, Tobise Paul Dukich, Jr. and Jonathan David Dukich; former wife, Debora Dukich; father-in-law, Charles Randolph Lee, Sr.; mother-in-law, Theresa Marie Delapas Lee; and his beloved dog, JW.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Sam's extended family, wonderful friends, and union brothers, for all of your kind words, prayers, and comments on social media, and for all the calls and texts during this difficult time.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Toby Dukich officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Fairmont. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
