Shelia Kathleen Moran, 59, of Fairmont, went peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, August 2, 2026. She was born in Fairmont on December 24, 1966, a daughter of the late William J. Moran Sr. and Katheryn Davis Moran.

Sheila was a special person who loved animals. She enjoyed making people laugh, riding motorcycles, NASCAR, and singing, especially Stevie Nicks.

Sheila is survived by her siblings, Martine Cole and her husband Duane, and William J. Moran, Jr. and his wife Marcia; nieces, Michele Lantz and Taylor Cole (Wyatt); and nephews, Matthew Moran (Jordan), Aaron Moran (Kimmie), and Lincoln Lantz; a great nephew Luke Aiden Anderson; a special friend, Brian Vincent; a close friend, Barbara Moran; and her cats, Cruella and Oliver.

In addition to her parents, Sheila was preceded in death by her sister, Susan L. Brandimarte (David); and her dog, Little Al Capone.
