Shirley Ann Rittenhouse, 88, of Silver Spring, Maryland, passed away on January 13, 2024. Shirley was born in Monongah, WV on April 30, 1936 to the late Ellsworth and Pauline Knight.

Shirley loved to read and retired from the Annapolis State Law Library. She always helped people however she could.  Shirley was very active in her church the Chesapeake Christian Center.

She is survived by her son Paul Ellsworth Rittenhouse and his wife Jennifer; youngest brother Gerald E. Knight; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Ronald Knight.

Family and friends will be received at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 11:00a.m. until 1:00p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00p.m. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial in Fairmont.
