Stephen Bradley Vennis, 67, of Barrackville, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019. He was born in Clarksburg on April 10, 1951, son of the late Steve Jr. and Mary Queen Vennis.

Stephen enjoyed watching sports and the outdoors.  He enjoyed the mountains and trout fishing, especially with his brother in Lake Erie.  He was an outstanding athlete in Highschool.  He attended both Fairview and Barrackville High School.  Stephen was Baptist by faith.

Stephen is survived by his children, Chad Vennis, Summer Metheny, Jason Vennis, Zach Vennis, Paris Vennis, and Zanna Vennis; five grandchildren; a brother, Mark Vennis and wife Diane of Florida; a sister, Marcia Painter and husband Sam of Barrackville; an aunt, Delores Swiger of Gettysburg, Pa and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by numerous family

In accordance with his wishes, cremation services will be provided by Domico Funeral Home in Fairmont.
