Thomas Enoch Efaw, 87, of Fairmont, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 after an extended illness. He was born in Fairmont on July 26, 1938, a son of the late Emmett and Madeline Efaw.

Thomas retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God. Thomas graduated from Shinnston High School and Zion Institute in Rhode Island. He also attended WVU, where he played baseball. Thomas enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, softball, and baseball.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 64 years, Kay Efaw; three daughters, Stephanie Bacco (Ron) of South Carolina, Michele Carlock (Glynn) of North Carolina, and Kristy Cole (Tim) of West Virginia; two granddaughters, Amber Thompson (Chris) of South Carolina and Katie Goss (Nick) of Kentucky; six grandsons, Brandon Bacco (Brittany) of West Virginia, Zach Toothman (Leah) of West Virginia, Hunter Toothman (Karli) of North Carolina, Tanner Cole (Cara) of West Virginia, Ashton Cole of West Virginia, and Aiden Cole of West Virginia; 11 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen Floyd and Judy White

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Chet Efaw.
