Thomas Morgan, 74, of Fairmont passed away Friday, October 25, 2019.  He was born July 27, 1945 in Fairmont, son of the late Harold and Katherine (Hartnett) Clark.

Thomas was a retired coal miner, formerly working for Rauer Coal and Bethlehem Steel.  He was a member of the Covenant Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army, Vietnam Conflict.  Thomas was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved to spoil his grand babies.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruth Ann Morgan of Fairmont; two children, Thomas Paul Morgan and wife Alicia of Fairmont and Kimberly Jo Morgan of Fairmont; two brothers, John Martin and wife Patty of Barrackville and Tim Martin and wife Nan of Fairmont; one sister, Linda Bashaw and husband Gary of Barrackville; two granddaughters, Kylee Jo Ruckle and Courtney Thompson; two great granddaughters, Kyndal Morgan and Kynnedy Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by a grandson, Cody Morgan; his mother-in-law, Sylvia West Stalnaker; and two brothers-in-law, Russell Paul Stalnaker and Thomas E. West.

In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to serenity gardens in the West Virginia Veterans Nursing Facility, 1 Freedom Way, Clarksburg, WV 26301.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. Fairmont, Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Josh Morgan officiating.  Interment will follow at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.domicofh.com.
