Thomas McNabb Womack, 84, of Fairmont, WV passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born September 27, 1936 in Spring Gardens, VA, the son of the late Joseph and Mary Womack. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Thomas M. Allen; sister, Dorothy Womack English, and two brothers, William Oliver Womack and Joseph Terry (JT) Womack.

After completing high school in Charleston, he served in the US Army. He moved to New York and later to Fairmont. He spent time as a Marion County Transit bus driver. He then worked with Consol Energy at Robinson Run for 27 years until his retirement. He enjoyed coffee, watching sports, reading the newspaper, and helping others.

He lives to cherish his memories, significant other, Thelma Singleton; brother, Charlies Womack; daughter, Barbara Joy Smith, Elouise (Donald) Lamar, and Deyvonne (David) Moore; surviving children's mother, Johnnie Womack; six grandchildren, Alecia Allen, Shenice Allen, Zhane Hale, Alaye Allen, Dierra Lamar, and Deasia Lamar; three great grandchildren, Andria Sayles, Aneia Sayles, and Zyaire Thomas Mosley; numerous nieces, nephew, and cousins.

He lived a long life. He will forever be in our hearts.
