Vincent James "V.J." Vessecchia, 38, passed away December 12, 2019. He was born in Fairmont on May 30, 1981, son of James A. Vessecchia and Sherry L. Davis.

Vincent worked several jobs in the food industry and was an excellent cook. He went to East Fairmont High School. He loved life and was a big heart. Additionally, he loved to camp.

Vincent is survived by his parents, James A. Vessecchia and Sherry L. Davis; a brother, Brandon L. Mays and his wife Meagan Mays; a sister, Amber L. Mays; a stepsister, Leighann Ware; a stepbrother, Clayton Zopfi; a niece, Asia S. Oduro-Anokye; a nephew, Eiljah D. Overbaugh; uncles, Rick J. Raber, Randy H. Raber, Bob M. Raber, Ron A. Raber, Anthony Vessecchia, Rick G. Vessecchia, Randy Vessecchia, Brad Coffman, Brian Coffman, Glenn Coffman, Joseph Vessecchia, and Jason Vessecchia; an aunt, Melissa Faircloth; step grandparents, Lenny and Linda Bonfantino; and several cousins.

Vincent was preceded in death by his grandparents, Guy F. and Dorothy Raber and Vincent J. Vessecchia and Mary M. Coffman and John G. Coffman.
