Virginia May Keener Edwards, 94, of Worthington, passed away peacefully December 2, 2021 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born September 18, 1927 in Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Thomas and Alma Werner Keener.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin J. Edwards; two sons, Eddie and Tom; one daughter, Dorrena Harris; and one grandson, Channing Edwards.

She is survived by five sons, Dennis Edwards (Gwen) of Elkhart, IN, Albert Edwards of Elkhart, IN, Donald (Patty) Edwards of Four States, WV, Michael Edwards of Worthington, WV, and Jeffery Edwards of Lancaster, OH. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Virginia loved nature and enjoyed sitting on her porch watching wildlife. She was family oriented, and loved all of her family. She was a kind, gentle person to everyone and always had a smile on her face.

In accordance with her wishes, no viewing or services will take place, only a private family gathering at the Grove Cemetery in Monongah. She will be buried beside her husband, Franklin.
