Wayne Kyle Shuman, 81, of Fairview, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019. He was born in Fairview on March 31, 1938, son of the late Harold Edwin Shuman and Margaret Marie Kincaid Shuman.

Wayne was a member of the St. Paul Baptist Church. He retired from Consolitated Coal Company. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with his grandchildren and his family, and working the hot dog sales at church.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martha Shuman; his son Nelson Shuman and his wife Susan of Fairview; grandchildren, Wayne Lynn Shuman and his wife Stacy, Adam Lee Shuman, Elizabeth Jo Anderson and her husband TI, and Brandi Shuman; great grandchildren, Wayne Austin Shuman, Annika Mae Shuman, Corbin Jack Shuman, and Karus Alexandria Musselman; sisters, Ann Musgrave and her husband Barney of McCurdysville and Judith K. Murray and her husband Roy of Hagans; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Shuman of Petersburg; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his brother, Sherill Edwin Shuman; a sister, Roberta Jean Wadsworth; and a brother-in-law, Layman Wadsworth.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home – Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview, on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry Harker officiating.
